CVHC Preparedness Program Course:

HICS/IMT Review

“Hospital Incident Command Structure and Incident Management Teams ReView Course”

The CVHC Preparedness Program Courses is a newly developed series, designed to provide an in-person guided review of content identified as a gap or need to coalition members, from the findings of regional After Action Reviews.

Each course will be hosted by CVHC and facilitated by subject matter experts.

The first CVHC Preparedness Program Course offered will be The HICS/HIMT Review Course on November 1st, 2018.

The HICS/HIMT Review Course will provide attendees a chance to review and discuss the integration of multiple agency incident command and management teams from healthcare facilities, first responders, and regional partners.

The ability to collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across agency lines during a disaster or emergency event is vital to the overall success of response and recovery.

This course is intended for CVHC members who function in ICS roles in their facility / agency / community response. (Administrators, Command and Operations staff, as well as Emergency Managers are highly encouraged to attend).

While this course does not replace the foundation education of ICS 100/ ICS 200/ ICS 300 / ICS 400 NIMS 700 / NIMS 800… it will review much of its language and content.
