The Center for Domestic Preparedness now has Virtual Instructor-Led Training available. These online sessions are 1-2 hours long and require attendees to submit an on-line application. Submission for these sessions will close 2 days prior to the delivery to allow time for class management and for providing additional instructions to registered students. The session will be delivered using adobe connect, instruction will be provided individually to each student with links and passwords. Enrollment for these sessions will automatically close when the classes are filled.

Short Description

Mass Casualty Incident Response – provides mass casualty triage education and practical experience in the application of the SALT (Sort, Assess, Lifesaving Interventions, Treatment/Transport) Mass Casualty Triage Algorithm. The instruction addresses global sorting of mass casualties, assessment of individual patients, the performance of on-scene lifesaving interventions, and the treatment, stabilization, and transport of patients for further treatment in a healthcare facility. (1.5 hours)
