Monkeypox Briefing for Virginia Healthcare Professionals

The Virginia Healthcare Emergency Management Program (VHEMP), in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Health’s (VDH) Office of Emergency Preparedness and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA), is hosting a webinar on Aug. 10 at noon that will feature updates from the Virginia Department of Health regarding the current monkeypox situation, epidemiology of the virus, risk assessment and communication, infection prevention and control, testing, collaboration with public health officials, and medical countermeasure strategies, including vaccine and treatment options.
