Virginia COVID Discharge Data Trends

The Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA) invites you to join us for a webinar to unveil new statewide utilization and demographic details about people treated for COVID-19 in the Commonwealth.
This briefing will provide new information about COVID-19 hospitalizations, such as patient length of stay, hospitalizations by age, gender, and payer type, and the presence of comorbidities in patients hospitalized for coronavirus treatment. The briefing will be based on hospital discharge data through April 30, 2022.
The webinar will feature a data presentation from VHHA Vice President of Data Analytics, David Vaamonde.
This webinar presentation is in keeping with VHHA’s commitment to enhancing public understanding of the health care delivery system in the Commonwealth. VHHA launched and updated the COVID-19 in Virginia Hospital COVID-19 Data Dashboard since March 2020. Those interactive online tools provide insight into COVID-19 hospitalizations, bed availability, ventilator usage, hospital discharges, ICU bed usage, PPE supplies, and more.
With the support of Virginia hospitals and health systems that supply the data, the dashboards serve as a resource to the public, state, and federal partners and the media to share data on the effects of COVID-19.
